We support both cryptocurrency and fiat payments. Crypto payments are processed either through our own self-hosted infrastructure (for maximum privacy) or via CoinPayments for the long tail of supported coins. Fiat is handled via Wise and PayPal.
Bitcoin and Monero payments are processed through our own BTCPay Server instance running on Packetra infrastructure. This means:
If you specifically chose Packetra for privacy reasons, BTC and XMR through our BTCPay are the strongest options. Monero in particular provides on-chain transaction privacy that no other widely-supported cryptocurrency offers.
For broader cryptocurrency support, we use CoinPayments as our gateway. This covers the major coins customers most commonly want to use:
CoinPayments charges a small per-transaction fee that is passed on to you in the invoice total. If you want to avoid any third-party processor entirely, use the BTCPay options above instead.
Each invoice generates a Wise payment link. Click Pay Now on the invoice and you are taken to Wise's secure checkout page where you complete the payment using your bank, card, or Wise balance โ whichever you prefer. The invoice reference is pre-filled in the link, so reconciliation is automatic.
Wise supports multiple currencies and applies mid-market exchange rates if you pay in something other than EUR. Card and balance payments settle within minutes; direct bank transfers through Wise typically clear within a few hours.
Prefer a direct bank-to-bank transfer? If you would rather send a SEPA or international wire from your own bank instead of going through the Wise checkout, open a ticket with our billing department and we will provide the relevant transfer details for your invoice.
PayPal is supported for customers who prefer it as a fiat payment method. Payments are credited to your invoice on confirmation, usually within minutes.
We can issue a direct card payment link for any invoice โ no PayPal account required on your end to use it. On the invoice page, click Request Card Link and a pre-filled ticket is opened with our billing department; we respond with a direct payment URL where you complete the transaction using just card details.
This is a manual step on our side, so there is a short turnaround โ usually within a few hours during business time.
Most hosting providers that "accept cryptocurrency" route payments through a third-party processor. The processor receives the crypto, often converts it to fiat immediately, and pays the host. This works fine for accepting payment but adds a layer where:
Running BTCPay Server ourselves removes that middle layer for our two most privacy-relevant coins. The payment goes from your wallet to ours, on-chain. We hold the keys. Nothing sits between you and us.
We still use CoinPayments for the other coins because running individual nodes for fifteen different blockchains isn't practical for a small team โ and most customers using ETH, USDC, etc., aren't choosing those coins for privacy in the first place.
Cryptocurrency payments cannot be reversed back to the original wallet (we never hold an exchange relationship with them). Where a refund is owed under our Terms of Service โ for example under the 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time Shared or WordPress Hosting โ the refund is issued as account credit which you can apply to future invoices.
Wise and PayPal refunds, where applicable, are returned to the original sending method.
Pick a hosting plan and your preferred payment method is available at checkout.
